CLASSROOM PREP

Michael and I went to his classroom today, yes, on Sunday to help him get some stuff set up and happy for the upcoming school year. He busied himself with various things around the room while I tackled the 'Under the Sea' themed door to welcome the little ones.
A lot was accomplished in the couple of hours we were there. It was fun spending time together, blasting music, and helping him prepare for a successful year ahead. I might be biased but I think Michael is probably the best 3rd Grade Teacher out there.
Also, I've now designated myself as the 'Door Decorator in Chief' and will be taking this over going forward because it was so much fun today!
Afterwards, we stopped at Michael's parents, did a little grocery shopping, then spent the rest of the day playing with Abby & Murphy and watching the NASCAR race until it was rained out.
This is why Sunday is my absolute favorite day!
