August Road Trip Part 1

Currently, we are on our second vacation this summer. Tim’s best friend Melinda is on this journey with us! We chose another road trip as Tim loves driving! This trip so far has taken us through Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and right now we are in North Carolina.

Some things we have done so far are a trip to a zoo with a drive thru safari, a hike at Old Forge Bridge, played a round of mini golf, bumped and banged on a few go-kart rides, did some shopping, visited Tim’s cousin Kevin and his family, and went to Carrowinds Amusement Park. Melinda was able to meet up with her son Chris and he has joined us with some of the fun!

Here are a few pictures of the adventure thus far. We are going to a concert tonight and on the way back home are stopping to go on a cave tour in Virginia.

Family time and traveling is so enjoyable, fun, and important to us. While we might not fly around the world it is important for us to spend time together, experience new things and places, and just have a good time.
